A second body has been found after a house fire Friday night, June 10, at a mobile home in Santa Ana was extinguished, officials said.

Santa Ana police had previously said they found one dead man in the home after the fire was extinguished. Investigators said they believed the fire at the 5000 block of West McFadden Avenue was intentionally set.

Police announced Wednesday, June 15, that a second body, identified only as a woman, was found under the debris of the burnt home.

“The circumstances surrounding these homicides are currently being investigated,” a news release from the department said.

Homicide detectives re-searched the home Tuesday after gaining “additional information on the case.” It was not immediately clear what information that was. The identification of the victims has also not been released.
