On Friday we cap out this week with more impressive heat and humidity as temps will quickly get into the 70’s this morning, followed by 80’s by the early afternoon with lower 90’s by 2 p.m. With the heat and humidity comes the threat of thunderstorms this afternoon between 2 to 6 p.m. Currently the main concerns with Friday’s storm threat will be winds in excess of 45mph, vivid lightning, and heavy rain.

Saturday we will be watching for a more organized line of thunderstorms that look to impact our region from the mid-afternoon into the early evening hours. With the exception of the storms, overall Saturday does NOT look like a washout, in fact it looks good. Temps will top out in the upper 80’s under a mix of sun and clouds.

Sunday will feature the return of mostly sunny skies with temps holding in the mid 80’s.

Independence Day looks sunny, dry, and warm.
